There is a plant, it usually grows along roads or paths, about 4 feet high, flowers in July (small yellow flowers), and smells very strong but pleasant to humans. But moths hate it. When dried and put into wardrobes it keeps them away.
I have seen that plant everywhere gowing wild, from (continental) Europe to Canada (S.-Ontario).
Here comes the catch: I only know the German and Latin names for it: ger: Mottenkraut, lat: Chenopodium.
Maybe there is a smart botanist out there....?

believe it or not... you can put your clothes in the freezer. i know it isnt very practical, but it will kill them.
i had a problem with these tiny moths in my house, and couldnt figure out where they were coming from. ended up they were coming from a pakage of wheat flour i had. so now any and all grains i bring in the house i freeze for a few hours. cereal, pasta, bread
