I purchased a Christening gown from Strasburg last year and it was in the top of my bedroom closet inside of the storage bag. It received several small mildew stains due to flooding caused by Hurricane Katrina. It was the only clothing item I could salvage. Any suggestions? Contacted Strasburg and they offered no suggestions/recommendations. Any help is appreciated.

I was boiling water in a stainless pot and the next thing I know, water is gone and burnt spot all over. I've tried baking soda and vinegar. I prefer not to use abrasive pads.

I have a sterling silver ring I put in a felt pouch for traveling, when I took it out, it had a very thick dull finish on it. I purchased the polishing cloths and used the paste but it is not completely removing it, can anyone recommend anything to help? :(

I live in a one bedroom apartment and for the last couple months our carpet has become dirty. Should we clean it professional before we move out or should we leave it like that? If I leave it, do you think that they wont give me my 300$ deposit back?
