use alcohol wipes. antibacterial wipes like clorox or moist towelettes are too saturated with solutions and can seep into your electronics causing damages. alcohol wipes evaporate soon after application so you get rid of the germs, smudges and stuff without the drippy mess. the ones i use are initially used for cleaning your computer screen but work for pretty much everything.

use a rag dampened with rubbing alcohol and then spray off with canned air...you can get that at any computer or electronic store..its mainly used to blow dust out of keyboard keys but works great for your problem as well.
