Yeah, but after you let it go long enough, you'll have to clean it up for the new housekeeper, or they'll quit before they start!

i know what you mean.......i'm just taking a break now after cleaning for the past 3 hours. only time i had a cleaning service was when i had both arms in a cast at the same time. i like to get it done b4 the weekend so hubby and i can have time to spend together doing more fun things. but hey, if you can afford a housekeeper ..........why not? otherwise try doing a bit every day and that way it doesn't seem overwhelming. gottta go....

i guess if you don't want to do the dirty work, you need to hire a new cleaning service or buy a good vacuum.

if you don't want to spend too much time cleaning, just maintain your house, put everything where it supposed to be and just clean maybe once every two weeks.

Why don't you see if there is a high schooler in your neighborhood who is looking for a summer job? Ususally, it is cheaper than hiring a cleaning service, they do a decent job and you are helping them earn their way to a higher education.

You are horribly lazy. Unless your house is over 5000 sq ft, cleaning your house should only take one day. Do it on a Saturday, and step away from the keyboard.

Wish I could afford a cleaning service. (Heck, I just wish I had a dishwasher!)

Why did you let yours go? It sounds like you still wanted one. If they weren't doing the job right, find someone else.

Poor Princess.
I have the perfect solution for you. Tell hubby it's his turn! After all, you must not neglect your Yahoo Answers Ministry. We all need you way too much.

plenty of services for hire. Or you could just get up off your fat, lazy, 'I sit behind a desk full time and I'm tired' rear end and clean your own oversized, under utilized house.
