My boyfriend works around diesel constantly.....use color-safe bleach and a good detergent....if it has any diesel actually splashed on the shirt, spray the spots with something like shout.

Wash as usual but add lemon juice to the water. Then dry in very hot dryer with scented dryer sheet. Good luck, diesel fuel is gross.

Use lime juice where the stain is. If its just smell, then soak the shirt in 1/2 bucket water + 1 cup lime juice. Soak your shirt for 15 mins and wash it immediately with soap water.
