White vinegar and water is the best thing to use. It is non toxic won't streak and even gets rid of water spots if that is a problem as well. It's also great to use on water spots in the kitchen and bathroom. It's all i use anymore even for the hard water stains that build up in the toilet bowl below the water level. And it's much more inexpensive than any name brand product you can buy. Ok..so things might smell like a pickle for a little while..but it doesn't last long and it works and it saves you alot of pennies.

My family would clean using home products and so now i do the same and there clear with no streaks or smears. What i do is get a bowl fill with warm water and washing up liquid, the liquid clears everything off your Windows and then i get a clean tea towel and wipe the windows dry. There great in fact my friends now do this as as i was a housekeeper i found it worked great and saved me alot of time. You can use water and winger but to be honest it smells and get your hands irritate. Hope this helps

Armorall auto glass cleaner is better than Windex. It really is streak free!! As far as non commercial type glass cleaners, I just use water and and a clean lint free towel or newspaper. If its greasy or stubborn dirt add a little soap then rinse with a solution of vinegar and water or lemon juice and water.

Windex, not the store brand glass cleaner that is watered down and will leave a residue and streaks. Also use newspaper. It does not leave lint or if you do use paper towels, go back over it with a swiffer to remove the lint. The newspaper works great for me!
