I have a vinyl tile kitchen floor with white or off-white grout. Due to traffic and cooking, the grout gets nasty in pretty short order. Is there a product or method to clean it easily? Thanks.

Okay, I'll admit that I've had some late nights where I've collapsed into bed without having removed all my makeup...and even though I've been lucky enough to not have skin issues, my mascara has smugged all over my pillowcase! What can I use to remove my stubborn mascara from a pink pillowcase without ruining it anymore?

I had a gown from my daughters christening stored in a box and took it out and found it's all yellowed and stained. Would really like to be able to clean it so that her daughter could use it.

I have in my appartment at the entrance such a piece of grey carpet. I found it there when I moved and since I cannot afford to change it at the moment and I have a lot of free time I was thinking to wash it. But can this be done without destoying it? It is that kind of carpet that can be bought by meter. I mean that one can buy 1 meter as well as 10. On the back it has a layer of sponge or something. It is not such a great quality and I would say it also at least a few years old. So, what do you think?! Should I wash it? And what kind of washing powder or shampoo should I use? Thanks a lot!

Those creatures are around half centimeter long and they crawl like worms, but they look more like an ugly butterfly with the wings tight to the body. They have the colour of sand and they run fast. I first saw them in the bathroom. It is indeed moist there, but they seem to live in water also. But then they appeared also in the kitchen. And since I hate to have creatures in my kitchen cupboards, I hope that some of you have any ideas about how I can get rid of them. Thanks!

Can you just put it through the washer, or is it better to throw it out and buy a new bedsheet?

I live in an apartment with no washer connections and have to use the laundry room which has 6 washers and half don't work or rip you off. I find myself having to go in really early to get a washer because people will take all of them and leave their clothes in for hours. The water pressure is slow and it takes an hour to do a load. I don't take anyone's clothes out although I have the right because with the crazy people arouond nowadays, you might get shot. I sometimes take the bus to the laundramat but it is a hassle. I don't mind washing but without my own washer and dryer it can sometime be a timeconsuming nightmare. Any one else has this problem?

We recently moved into a house where the lady had two cats and didn't really care where they did their business. The smell in the basement is so bad it makes your eyes water. We have tried bleach, pet cleaning products. It just isn't helping. Any suggestions?
