Those creatures are around half centimeter long and they crawl like worms, but they look more like an ugly butterfly with the wings tight to the body. They have the colour of sand and they run fast. I first saw them in the bathroom.It is indeed moist there, but they seem to live in water also. But then they appeared also in the kitchen. And since I hate to have creatures in my kitchen cupboards, I hope that some of you have any ideas about how I can get rid of them. Thanks!

sounds like silverfish, try raid or black flag, or call an exterminator if you have lots of them

Bleach all washable/bleachable surfaces and wash everything you can. Any new food products you bring into the house, put in the freezer before putting them in your cupboards.

put bleach in a spray bottle.spray often.
