You can bleach it, but it is a lot of work and you will have to do it again frequently. I bought a grout cleaning and sealing kit at Home Depot last year and it still looks great. The cleaner has a brush top which you apply along the grout lines. Leave it on until it dries and wipe any haze off of the tiles (but you'll hardly have any because of the way the brush is designed). Wait until it is dry and apply the sealer in the same manner. I have snow white grout and it still looks clean after a year of use. It even repelled a red wine spill.

What everyone else said is good, but after you get it clean, don't forget to seal it so that it will not be so hard to clean the next time. You can buy good grout sealer at a home or tile store, though it can be expensive. Aquamix and Tile Labs are two brand names -- whatever you do, don't buy the sealer that comes in a spray can; it will make you sick if you breath it in.

I recently discovered Clorox Clean-Up with Bleach. It's awesome! Just spray it on, and scrub either with the scrubby side of a sponge or a dish brush, and voila! No more grout stains! Remember to rinse the surface with water afterwards, because the cleaner does have bleach in it.

If the grout is white...you can bleach it
If it is any other color...try using a toothbrush and some soapy water....if all else fails you can buy grout dye to dye it whatever color you want.

there is not any consumer-friendly thank you to get them truly sparkling yet they could desire to no longer be getting that grimy initially in the event that they are appropriate sealed. If it have been me, i might save on with a sealer to the grout.

You can use a clorox bleach pen, you must let it soak. If that does not work you can paint the grout with white baby shoe polish.
