Tide with bleach. It comes that way, you dont have to add chlorine bleach unless you're doing whites. Pour some on the spot full strength and work it with a toothbrush. Of course, if you have hard water you will have a harder time. I never used to be able to get spaghetti sauce out, even after repeated washings, until I learned this method. Now I swear by it. And, for sure, get to it right away. If you let it sit in the hamper until washing day, good luck getting it out.

I have found that you need to soak all red stains, blood, tomato anything like that in cold water and then wash normal. If the first time doesn't work then try soaking again. But remember don't put in the dryer as the heat will set the stain(s).

Singlemomof10 (whoa, seriously? o_O) pretty much got it, but I just have to add one last detail: if you take it out of the washer and see that the stain is still there, DON'T PUT IT IN THE DRYER. Drying pretty much seals in the stains and at that point you're stuck with them.

Believe it or not but natural sunlight will get your stain out. Just wash it normally and hang it out in direct sunlight to dry. Try it, it works.
