Okay, I'll admit that I've had some late nights where I've collapsed into bed without having removed all my makeup...and even though I've been lucky enough to not have skin issues, my mascara has smugged all over my pillowcase! What can I use to remove my stubborn mascara from a pink pillowcase without ruining it anymore?

I tried my eye makeup remover, and although some of the mascara was coming off on the q-tip, so was some pink! It didn't take off enough to notice anything on the pillowcase, but I'm not going to take my chances - I'm going out to get a Tide stick and some Shout.

(I can't believe that stuff is safe for my eyes!?!)

Shout takes it right out,, so does a little Tide with Bleach liquid detergent poured right on it and it won't hurt the pink.

I'm assuming this isn't like a high end silk or 1000+ count egyptian cotton sheet set. Anyway, been there done that and continue to do it...spray it with shout and let it soak. Then throw it in the wash. The other thing that works well is a Tide detergent pen. Mark the spots and then throw it in the wash. If it is a higher end sheet, use woolite or Ivory Snow. If your sheets are dry clean only...then take them to the dry cleaners and show them the spots. They have specific stuff they use to get those spots out. Good luck!

I use make up remover from Mary Kay....there is also an eye make up remover made by American Beauty that is really good too...any way, you can put some on a cotton ball and blot the pillow case before washing. Wash it like normal, and it will come out...I've tried it and it works!

Put blue dawn (the dish soap) on it and let it sit for about an hour before you wash the pillowcase. it sounds odd bit it really works. Make sure the dawn is blue not green or red or oarange because it will stain it.

if its white you can always bleach it :-)

Have you used the same product you would use on your eyes to get it off? If you have a non-oily eye make-up remover, try it. What about dish soap, it's got a grease cutter in it. I'd also try a scrub brush - soft bristles.
