Sorry, I should have been more specific. I just bought two matching antique wooden pieces of furniture and they are from a smokers home. One is a vanity with mirror and a matching dresser. How do I get the smoke out of wood furniture? Thanks!

I have tried EVERYTHING including the easy off cleaner and Mr. Clean magic eraser.

Its just "baked" on spillage that will NOT come off!

My old washing machine seems to be giving some of my clothes rust stains. I've tried to remove them with bleach (for whites), detergent, and stain removers with no luck. Short of buying a new machine, is there anything I can do?

I purchased from tv commercial a long time ago this package that contained an special ironing board cover and a kind of like plastic cover you put on the bottom of your iron, you turn the iron on high and can iron anything and it won't burn or become shinny.

I have tried to warm it up and scrape it with a knife and run it over a wax paper and then use warm rag to clean it - neither worked.

How much should I put on a 24" square board. Where could I buy mineral oil with no fragrance, if that is what I need? I know not to use food oils like olive and canola, because they go rancid, but don't want a perfumed dinner.

My husband and I bought a double papasan chair for a great price and it is in great condition all except for a few stains and a bit of a musty smell. I have a blanket over it now but I want to have it cleaned. Do I take it to a dry cleaners or do I have to have an upholstery cleaner come and do it? I would get a new cushion but they are over a hundred dollars and it seems such a waste to throw this out on account of the bit of the musty smell.
