I do some times but I make my husband put away his own clothes~I wash, dry and fold then put away my own stuff. After I started throwing his clothes in the garbage, he decided that he would put them away himself~problem solved.

I do it too. And it ticks my hubby off too. I do it because there is usually one or two things that I have to wash, but I think it is a waste to do a little load. So I pack in as much as I can, then I end up not having enough time to fold everything.
I do manage to put away things once they do get folded. Its the folding that I hate. Just do what I do. Make sure his stuff is done (at least a few things so he can choose what he wants to wear), then it shouldn't matter. As long as he has clean clothes he shouldn't complain. If he still complains, go on strike and wash everyones stuff but his. Then he will see what it is like to have to wash, dry, fold and put away. I'm sure he will be begging you to wash, dry and leave it in the baskets after he has to do a few loads himself.

Yes and no. Usually I put them away right away, but other times I leave them in the basket...my fiance doesn't mind either way though because I set out his clothes every morning to save time. You should try that if you don't put them away right away because he's probably just getting iritated having to dig through the basket trying to find that one matching sock! That way, he doesn't have a reason to complain because everything he needs is already out.

I don't mind doing the laundry. The washing the drying, even the ironing, but I HATE putting clothes away. I figure I did all the washing, drying, ironing, he can help and put away. Drives him nuts too. It is just one of those things.

As a single mother of three I do that often. I get very busy and the washer and dryer are on another floor. So yes you are not alone.Oh as for socks.. I don't match they just sit in a sock basket and I get every one a pair of socks from it each day. I hate matching socks.

I do this, but only for the items that don't wrinkle (such as socks, and towels). If the clothes wrinkle, I don't leave them in the basket.
