Acetone, but it melts a lot of plastics. You can use a mineral spirit paint thinner or lighter fluid if the surface is smooth and the mark is less than a day or so old. After a sharpie mark has cured, it's pretty permanent.

Easy Off Bam -- it really works. After getting rid of the marker you should wipe it again with Windex or something to get rid of the Bam, or it could cause problems when you write on it again.

Try the magic eraser with it being almost dry, yet somewhat damp. Also you can try any product that has citrus oil in it.

It's this stuff you can get at Wal-mart called "oops", it helpes to get weird stains like that out. It's good on glue and stickers too.
