The stuff near the top of my freezer wont freeze. Could this be because I've got it too full or should I ask my landlord for a new unit?

Our microwave stopped working last night, but when we got an extension cord and plugged it into another outlet it worked. Assuming the outlet was bad, we replaced it with a new one. Microwave still doesn't work in that outlet. Any reason there might now be power to the outlet? We have turned the breaker on and off several times.

I am wanting to fire up my gas heater which is is hooked up to a circulator and radiators. I turned on the circulation but..... There is a knob in the ON position which can also be turned to PILOT or OFF. I found the pilot and tried to light it with the knob in the pilot position. Any suggestions? I am not trying anything stupid but just wondering if I was looking over something simple.

Okay so I want to send a friend at a company some flowers and I was thinking about proflowers.com. But from what I've heard they come frozen in boxes, which isn't very presentable. Can anyone confirm this?

I am interested in having a contractor build a library inside my home and I would like to know how the contractor would go about quoting me a price for this job including material and labor. The following link will take you to the picture of the library facade that I am interested in having built. If you are unable to help me, please point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance for any advice that you can offer to me

This hole is about an inch wide and around seven inches long but is not in an area where it will be walked on. I need to plug it with some thing. I'm not a handy person and I haven't got a lot of money and all I need is cheap, easy cosmetic fix. Any ideas?

I just got a ton of tomatoes off my friends plants. Most of them are green, but the frost has hit so we are trying to save them.

So I am putting them in paper bags and waiting for them to turn red.

here is my question: I am planning on throwing them in the blender to puree them after they are ripe. Then i am going to freeze the puree into ice cube trays. Then take the tomato cubes and store them in a freezer bag. that way anytime I need some tomato for a dish, I have some on hand in easily usable portions.

Do I have to cook the puree before I freeze it or can i freeze it raw? I would rather freeze it raw.

Yes, I know I'm stupid, but I used a copper scrubber to clean our bathroom tub. (It had a handle, I thought it would be easier) As soon as I noticed the scratches, I stopped. My husband notices everything. I tried to clean them off, but they're still there. Help

I'm 23; I'm moving out of my house. One of the things I'm thinking about is that I won't have a washing machine.

I went to the lanudromat, and realized a lot of people wash their clothes there. A lot of people you just don't know where they've been.

Could my clothes catch something that could later make me sick?

The poor thing was looking swell. Beautiful flower emerging and I don't know if I over watererd or under-watered, but now it's just sad. The long center flower stalk is brown and dry. No pups ever came. The edges of some leaves are brown (with a hint of yellow at the base of the line). I've seem some answers about removing the center flower area, but not sure how best to handle this.
Here (finally!!) are my quetions:
If it should be removed -what is best way to clear out the center flower? Cut it off or pull the leaves out?
And...
Is there any hope for the poor thing? Will it at least try to bloom again or did I have one shot since no pups came??
Please and thank you!

The radiator is missing a number and my dumb sister lost the instructions a long time ago. I tried to Google it but it just wants to sell me one. It has a shut off timer if that helps.
