Okay so I want to send a friend at a company some flowers and I was thinking about proflowers.com. But from what I've heard they come frozen in boxes, which isn't very presentable. Can anyone confirm this?

I use ProFlowers - the flowers are not frozen. They come in a box well wrapped and protected and very fresh. They arrive quickly from their location and are in good condition when they arrive. The person receiving the flowers will have to have a vase to put them in as they are just a bunch of flowers - you have the option when ordering to purchase a vase that will come along with the flowers, but again, they will have to be placed in the vase and arranged by the person receiving the flowers. ProFlowers does have some live plants that would be suitable for someone who doesn't want to arrange cut flowers. I've always been happy with the flowers I've purchased from them, I would recommend them.

They'd better not be frozen! But they do arrive by UPS well packed and wrapped to retard moisture loss. If they are frozen, get your money back!! If you'd rather have the flowers delivered in person, find a florist near the recipents home and place an order.....many shops have web sites allowing you to place an order or call them. Otherwise, do it the old way by contacting your local florist and have them contact a florist near the recipient to make and deliver the flowers. I trust a florist not to carry flowers around in a frozen vehicle, but not UPS or other such.

I've used them and they weren't frozen they were very fresh. But they don't usually come in attractive bouquets like most flower places sometimes they come in kits which have to be assembled by the receiver, call them and find out what is what.
