I am interested in having a contractor build a library inside my home and I would like to know how the contractor would go about quoting me a price for this job including material and labor. The following link will take you to the picture of the library facade that I am interested in having built. If you are unable to help me, please point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance for any advice that you can offer to me

Well my dear I used to work in a lumber store so I would first go to one (??) Ace,Home,Lowes and go to the contractors corner and ask for a quote then ask for some referrals. I am pretty sure they will know some. Or look in your phone book Then when you meet them don't let on that you already recieved a quote. This way you can know what is coming!
Oh and there will always be a curve ball , meaning an added xpense make sure you also get references from them to show there work (if you can) meaning the work pace ,quality and honesty. Good luck!

They would measure for how much materials are needed and figure up the bid from that. it would be soemthing like this:
Materials Cost $$$
+ Labor Cost $$$
Total Bid $$$
