Thinking of planting some fruit tree which can be evergreen all year round. Any one has some ideas on what which trees are easy to look after for a greenhand?

Where do you live???????? In my world in Massachusetts U.S.A. there is NO such thing as an evergreen fruit tree.
In fact any citrus here would be dead before November 15 or so.
Please give the temperature zone you live in or at least the part of the world for an accurate answer!

Citrus (which includes oranges, mandarins, grapefruit, lemons, limes, etc.), Avocados, and Mangos are all easy to take care of if you have the right climate for them. Those are the ones I would start with. Buy some good grafted trees. Plant them where they will get plenty of direct sun. Fertilize them well and they all make attractive trees, as well as producing good fruit.
