I have an oblong plastic ducting pipe running along the top of my kitchen units. It then goes through a cavity wall. Inside wall is thermolite block and outside is brick. It then has a vent cover on it. There's room to do it and I need to move the vent cover about 3 inches to the left. How much would you pay a builder to do that and how long would it take him?

I have several ceiling fans in my home (that came with the home), and it seems the nicer Hunter fans are in the kids rooms and rooms not being used and the cheap "came with the house" fans are in the common areas. Do I need to hire a electrician or handy man to do the switching of fans or is this something I can do by myself?

There is a foul smell coming from the shower drain and I can't figure out what the hell it is. It smells so bad. I have tried using drano twice and bleach twice and neither did a thing. I have a cover on the shower drain right now just to block the smell. Man it reeks. I know for sure it is the shower drain. Any ideas on what it is and how I can get rid of it?

I locked and parked my spare bicycle for about 1 year already. Recently, I tried to unlock it WITH THE CORRECT KEY, but it cannot open ALTHOUGH THE KEY TURNED THE LOCK. I poured oil (a lot) into the hole and tried again and again but still cannot open. 2 days later, I sprayed WD40 into the key hole and tried again and again but still cannot open.

What should I do next?
Pls don't suggest "saw it" or "cut it with bolt" or any other way that use FORCE.
