I was trying to fix the screws of my sunglasses with glue when I spilled a drop on one of the glasses, I tried to clean it but spread it more. It's a very strong kinda glue and I don't wanna damage the glass, they're a souvenier from my girlfriend. Can I solve the glue using a kinda liquid or is there a way at all?

My house is in a highly humid city. Also there are no external cracks on the floor despite the "pop" sounds. What could be the reason for this and how can it be fixed as it disturbs our sleep in the night.

i am trying to upholster dinnette benches on and old RV. I am not talking about the cushions, but the benches themselves. I have a felt backed vinyl or pleather material. I will cover the backs with one piece and the front sides with another I can not figure out how to neatly cover the inside corners. (Imagine a curvy L shaped board) I am sure it just takes the right tucking or cutting technique, but I can't figure out what that is! I was hoping to do the sides with a single piece of fabric pulled tightly over and stapled, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any help would be great!!!

The only way I can get my kids' bathroom to smell ok is when I spray bleach on the bottom of the toilet where it meets the linoleum. There is no cauking there. The smell comes back in a few days. Will I have to rip up the lino and replace the sub-floor? Thanks for any help. I'm clueless in home maintenance.

Any paving contractors out there? I filled my driveway with crushed rock, but can't extend the rock to the road cause the town snow plow will dig it up. So I need a paved apron that extends from the edge of the road into my driveway about 3 or 4 feet. The driveway is about 25 feet wide. (I checked - the town refuses to do it - claiming they don't have the money.) What is a typical cost to have a paving company create a driveway apron? And wonder if there is a cheaper and better alternative, such as concrete?

Any products that will prevent the mold from growing? I already know how to get rid of it but it eventually keeps coming back in this one particular bathroom. Does opening the windows make it worse/help? Any tricks of the trade would be nice.

that itch in the night. I am looking for the lightweight, cool to the touch type of sheets, that never have balls on them and don't feel sticky like sateen. What kind of fabric combination am I looking for? And, don't say thread count. I know about thread count... have bought higher counts and still got balls on them. I am convinced it's a specific fabric content or combination of fabric that I'm after. Can anyone tell me that??

I'd like an upright that does carpet and/or hardwood as well. Hepa design is not necessary. I have had a hepa and a bagged upright. Neither is more preferable than the other except the hepa needs emptied WAY more often than does the bagged. So, give it to me..... what's YOUR best vac suggestion??

My brother has rust in his well water. It turns everything orange and he can't even drink it. It cost around $1,500 just to dig another well, but there is no guarantee that the water from the new well will be any better than the old water.

I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if there were any filters out there that actually work?
