I went to a party and they had us wear these label nametags (they were actually white mailing labels.) It left a sticky residue on my suede jacket... how can I clean this off?

Just use some elbow grease. (Works best with long fingernails.) There's also some citrus-smelling chemical, but I forget what it's called.

I am totally here with you on this. I had a suede jacket that had a chocolate bar in a pocket and my dog went nuts on it and it was a mess. I sent it to a very reputable dry cleaner who said they would have to send it out to someone else to fix. They assured me it could be cleaned and it was. It may cost you $40, but probably less than the higher value of your jacket.

You have no choice but to have it dry cleaned. Just make sure you are dealing with a reputable establishment, document the value of your jacket and have them promise that they can remove the glue. If they say they are unsure, then take it to another cleaning company who will give you that assurance.

go to the store and get this little bottle of Goof-off. I works wonders and won't harm the suede. It's like 2 bucks at wal-mart.
