Recently replaced the mechanical parts on one of the toilets in our house it seems to be working fine but there is not enough water in the bowl after it flushes, is there a way to adjust the water flow to the bowl?

Did you get a new water saving model? Some model work differently than the old fashion ones.

Lift the tank cover and watch what happens when it flushes, does the tank completely empty? If not- adjust the line attaching the flapper (seal at the bottom that lets the water out) and the handle. It it did- adjust the height of the ballcock (the big rubber ball thing that floats on the water and shut off the incoming flow). There should be adjustment screws on the main tower that you just installed, also keep an eye on the overflow drain in the middle that keeps water form flowing out of the tank, make sure it is the right height for the amount of water you want.

There should be a small hose/tube that goes from the fill valve to the overflow tube. This is what adds water to the bowl during the flush.

Not usually...

You have the small hose in the overflow tube that fills the bowl?

Is the tank filling to the fill line? If not, adjusting the float may help.

Did you buy a Fluidmaster or some garbage?
