Decorating Curtains?

I've completley redecorated my room and painted it light blue and it looks nice. But the one problem is my curtains - Their this really discusting green colour. My mum says I can't change them urgh because their a hassle to change. Is there a way to make my curtains look blue instead of green?

I would die them but the curtains are un detachable. Plus their a really thick green and impossible to dye

Buy a washer dye, possibly 2 for curtains cost is about £5

Have you seen the new scarves available for curtains and drapes? Some are shears and some are beads. Some are a combination of shear and beads. You could find a blue shear curtain scarf and drape it over and around the existing curtain. It could compliment the old curtain and it is very easy and inexpensive. JC Pennys has some fun decorating scarves and they will even show you different ways to drape the scarf. Also see ideas on the internet.

Get a couple of blue voile panels and attach them to the front of your existing curtains? At least then when the light hits them, it'll look more blue than green.

Unfortunatly it will be almost impossible to actually make these look blue. You could play around with different coloured lighting to see what makes them look best, or maybe put a thin blue sheet over top of them if you can. sorry I couldn't be more help.

Would you folks let you draw designs on them with fabric paint?
You could use all the colors in your room, and have just a tiny bit of green background.
Vacuum them first. And practice the designs on something!
