I have a cherry, pear tree in my yard. We plant them two years ago, and have yet to enjoy any fruits they produced. The squarrel and bird always gets to the fruit first. How can I prevent that from happening without adding chemical on them?

My neighbor moved in to his house five years ago..him and spouse are still paying the mortgage. The branches haven't been trimmed since they moved in, and some branches are several feet onto my property and now even reach one corner of my roof. I don't want to cause waves, but I don't think I should have to pay a tree service to fix this problem. What are my options. I reside in the state of Washington.

My parents are in the process of getting a whole brand new kitchen remodeled by Home Depot does that mean that when remolding everything from walls to floors, new outlets, painting, from new pantry's, cabinets, shouldn't that all be included in one big bill?

This has probably been asked before but when taking a shower our mixer shower runs hot and then cold continuously. Why is this & can it be fixed DIY style or would we have to call a plumber? Also when running the hot tap it can take a good couple of minutes before it starts getting hot, so are these problems all related?

Just incase you need to know we have a combination boiler! Thanks ;)

In our bathroom we have the standard pull switch operating fixed halogen downlights. Lately for some strange reason we now have to pull the light switch 3 times to switch them on i.e. on, off then on and it works! Why is this?? Is it a problem with the pull switch unit or is it something to do with the transformers for the Halogen lights?

How would i go about cleaning / sterilising one of those jacuzzi baths. I have heard that unless you clean them with some sort of detergent / antibacterial stuff they can harbor germs in the pipes. Dont know if this is true or not, but have ive just bought a house with one instaled, so would like to thourughly clean it before use. I saw "How clean is your house" on TV once where they did this, but I cant remember the stuff they used.

I hate to use chemicals on my lawn, I keep things very organic. I'll tell you what I've done so far and if you could please give me additional advice I would be most greatful!!! I trimmed off any spotted leaves from the stem of the plant. I've checked the stem for any sign of disease and there does not appear to be any. I've cleaned the soil of any fallen leaves. This plant is new, planted rootstock this Spring. The area I planted in had never had roses before. This was the first addition to a rose garden I was just beginning, starting with a rose named Mary Rose which happens to be my recently deceased mom so I really want to keep the plant. PLEASE give me your best advice.
