i need to carry one of those heavy,white five gallon buckets that have drywall cement in them and the handle hurts because it is so thin and metal.what could i put around it to soften the load up?

I let my cat in the house @ 5:30am. And I saw that he had ran through a spider web, the black & yellow spider still haging on. came running into the house. And I can not find the spider!!! Just want to know how long can he live in my house if I can't find it?

the last few months our power bill has been around $160 !! This may be normal or not, but it is way too high for us ! does anybody know of ways that we can dramatically lower our bill ?? we live in florida, so i am sure the temp has a lot do do with this, as we have central heat and air. what is the best temp to keep the AC so the bill is cheaper ? please help soon and give me some ideas to lower this please, before we go broke !! thanks

I need to work two pumps cyclicaly at home. so that the other pump should get a rest .This is to install to my house as I am having two pumps of 1H.P of 220V.Now only pump is istalled but it heats up due to continuos operation.I have some experience of electrical wiring but I cannot make it run .My over tank need one hour to fill it.

I notice that after praying I sometimes doze off but I am not sleeping because I am still aware of my surroundings I do not know if this the 1st level of sleeping, pictures start appearing when I am in a state of this doziness Why is this so?.

I'm redoing my bathtub and surrounding wall remodel and i'm planning to put of panel in the ceiling over the tub and block the heater air outlet (heater outlet is also in the ceiling over the tub). The reason I want to block the heater outlet is due to rust problem since outlet soaks up lot of the hot moisture during shower. Bathroom remodel place wants me to block the outlet before they put the ceiling panel because the hot air coming down could lossen the adhesive used to glue panel to the ceiling. Can any one help me how to do this x tks

I was told to always set my air conditioner fan to "on" and "cool" for the best air circulation. Right now I have the air conditioner fan setting set to "on" and the temp setting set to "cool" as a few people have told me to try it out. Its seems to be working for the hotter rooms upstairs but will this drive my electric bill up or damage the blower motor if it runs 24/7? I just replaced that motor and that’s how I heard of this method.
4 different people told me they do this during the summer and I've never heard of doing that. I always set mine in the past to "auto" and "cool". Will I save money by leaving it on all the time? What’s the best?

HE WAS CONTRACTED MID JULY TO PAINT OUSTIDE OF OUR HOUSE AND STILL HASN'T FINISHED BY THE BEGINING OF SEPTEMBER!!!!!
We paid him half up front, with the balance to be paid on completion. The contract we signed said he would be finished no later than August 9th.
The job he has done so far is patchy in places, dribbles of different color of paint runnning down side, bare exposed wood in parts etc, etc, .
He always has excuses , turns up when he likes ! Rarely has done a full days work.

HELP...Legally can he come after us for balance if we find someone else to finish this botched job.....
HE IS THREATENING TO PLACE A LIEN ON OUR HOUSE!!
This is becoming very expensive.... !!!!!!!
