HELP! HOW DO I SQUISH IT? Its driving me insane, but I can't find the little fecker.

Okay. The little fookah came out long enough for me to drop one of my heavy school books on it. There was guts on my school book and the box where he finally crept out, but I couldn't find a little cricket corpse. Oh no. Does this mean he's still creeping around somewhere, but maybe with only one leg?

1. Leave the house for a few days and let it starve (not recommended)
2. Buy pest killer and spray like there's no tommorrow! (cheap and effective)
3. Borrow someone's cat or dog, they'll kill it. (Messy)
4. Buy earplugs. (Passive and not recommended)
5. Listen carefully and track it down. (time consuming)
6. Get a bug zapper and put it close to the ground. (Not recommended if you have any pets or little children)
7. (last resort if all other aforementioned methods fail) Hire an exterminator. (very expensive and probably not worth it unless the bug is really driving you off the cliff of sanity)

Jimini, I don't know but you could join in with him but don't follow him exactly. He knows tha cricket rule of "ALL CHIRP AT THE SAME TIME"
This might bother him enough to make him stop or go somewhere to do it.

Don't squish it thats bad luck! its most likely coming from your roof which has happened to me before it is really wierd...

I'm with you girl, there seems to be one in my AC vent I think? and is sort of stalking me every night. If you can't find it, you'll just have to wait until he dies or find another cricket to kick it with and leaves.

Get the vacuum and clean your floor. Look in small spaces. If you catch the little booger, trap him and THROW him out the window.......

Hehe...that's too funny. I hate when that happens! It might take you a while...but listen very carefully and you can usually find it. Sneak up on it!

put a little 7-up in a bottle cap on your floor, the sweet scent will attract it, but the carbonation will blow up it's stomach cavity.
