I have a Craftsman garden tractor and it seems to be burning oil awful fast. I don't see any leaks whatsoever. I've been using 10w30 engine oil for the last couple of seasons and lately it's been sputtering even after I have changed the spark plug, fuel filter, and cleaned the air filter.

the phone just keeps ringing and ringing and then cuts off. I bought some stuff from there, about £1500 worth about 2 months ago and paid extra for delivery, it has still to arrive, no one has contacted me about it and I cannot get through to the store. My builder has had to go out and get the things himself that I ordered, so that he can finish the job. Firstly, is anyone else having these problems with B+Q and secondly, when the items eventually come, am I within my rights to take the things back that I had to buy again?

The quack to installed it did such a bang-up job, that everytime we do our laundry, the line that empties out into the backyard turns into mushy swampland. What is required for it to be fixed? Is this something we can do ourselves or call a professional for?

The mold is on the central air vent and on the ceiling above the air conditioner, and I am afraid that prolonged exposure might cause health problems. I need to keep it from spreading, and neutralize it completely without renovation to the room because it is an apartment building. Any legitimate answers would be greatly appreciated, any ridiculous answers just to recieve points on your account will be disregarded and reported. Thank you.

I recently bought a peace lily. I have it in bright(ish), indirect sunlight and I'm attempting to keep the soil moist. However, I just looked and found out that the pot the plant is in has no holes on the bottom. My question is... Should I repot this plant into another, same-sized pot with holes on the bottom? Can I simply poke holes in the bottom of this pot and get away with it? I don't want to traumatize the plant by repotting if I don't need to, but I don't want it to rot, either. Help!

The home was badly vandalized when I found it and I got most of the deposit knocked of by replacing much of the drywall and painting it myself. All the upstairs windows were broken and the banister/railing was ripped out. He said he would replace them once I fixed the walls. Well, he just hired a guy to install cheap storm windows. Not real windows at all. They are just nailed to the outside window frames and offer almost no insulation. And they are already falling apart after a year. And he never replaced the banister/railing, so I just have a gaping hole in my floor just waiting for me to fall and break my neck. There are many other horrific problems and he will do nothing. I even I thought of calling the local housing inspector, but I'm afraid they might condemn the house or something. It's a gorgeous house with a huge yard and we would hate to lose it, but it's impossible to heat when it gets down to 10 below! It's quite a canundrum and he has us bent over a barrel and he knows it

I have a 200x80 ft riding arena that is unfortunately lower than the surrounding land. I'm thinking of digging trenches around this arena to intercept the water flow into the arena, and draining the water to another location. All the research I've done suggest gravel-filled covered trenches. Is there a reason why I should not leave the trenches unfilled and open? They would hold more water when not filled with gravel.
