The quack to installed it did such a bang-up job, that everytime we do our laundry, the line that empties out into the backyard turns into mushy swampland. What is required for it to be fixed? Is this something we can do ourselves or call a professional for?

The line was routed underneath some concrete (which they tore up and repaved) to empty into the soil beneath the lawn. Our washer/dryer is in a little room facing the backyard, street level. Not the greatest area but we have no basement.
