First of all i don't understand taking the time to ask such a rediculous question such as how to kill a fly. Unless you are talking about the human form of a pest such as an annoying roomate. Try getting fly paper, very cheap but not good for decor. Do not get the bag of slush, it smellls like dead flesh. Have you tried a fly swatter? They are cheaper and requires no thinking what so ever.

I've got a cat that loves to chase them and eat them. This morning I had a bunch of flys in my house. I went out for a few hours. When I got back there were no flys. Of course my house was a mess when I got back.

Forget all the answers that say use a flyswatter. You will be running all around your room. Instead use hairspray. The stickiness of the spray will stick the wings together, the fly will fall, & you throw it out.

You take a nifty tool called a fly swatter and you go "wham" onto the little buggy.


Or you could use a glass to catch it and then once it is behind the glass, slip a piece of paper behind it and then scoop it up and put it outside... or you can open the window.
