What colors are best for brightening a room that gets very little sunlight?

This is for an office waiting room that is about 20' by 12' and has only one medium sized window

1] paint it in a light shade, of peach, yellow, or honeydew green
2] put up a mrror across from the window
3] frame pix and mirror in brass or chrome
4] get sofa, chairs in a bright or jeweltone, vs. a dark or neutral
5] curtains should have wall color, upholstery color, or floor color/or mix of all three
6] put up art with sunny colors in it - blues, greens, yellows, oranges. Group some on each blank wall.
7] put lamps in corners farthest from windows [ standing or table ] same finish as art
8] add some plants
