my boys want to build a go cart and they have come home with a pretty good lawn mower, that runs. I do not know how to make a vertical engine move the go cart. Can any one help me, also we do not have a lot of money to spend on this project. If there are things I can use from other items I can probably get my hands on those prety easy, through friends and local salvage yards.

Both hot and cold H2O are barely trickling out of the tap/faucets. I opened the main water valve fully and checked to see if the faucets themselves were clogged, but still no change. Will the local H2O dept help? Does it have anything to do with the pipes?

PLEASE help as my dishes AND my hair could use a strong hosing!

THANK YOU!!! : )

My husband and I have about a 3000 sqft backyard with NO grass. We think it is going to be too expensive to sod it and are looking at possibly spreading bahia seed instead. Does anyone know well this works, or any advise or tips for how to do it best, or know how long it takes for grass to grow? Will it look as nice as if we had layed sod once it is all grown? We live in Florida.

Should I try and smooth it out with more plaster over it (seems to be a bad Venetian plaster job) or sand it down until it's smooth?

how come in most households the toilet seat is a complete circle, yet in most pulic restrooms, there is a gap in the toilet seat? Just Curious if anyone knows the reasoning behind this. Thanks!

If you find mold growing on a blender or other kitchen appliance, is it safe to use antibacterial soap and rinse under hot water, or should I throw it away?

I have an open dirt space in my backyard that is just covered with weeds now. I'd like to just use weed killer on them, but I'm afraid it will hurt my dog. Is there a certain kind I can use? Or how long do I have to keep my dog out of that area?

I wanted to use our toaster oven to partially anneal the aluminum from a soda can, just to get out the wrinkles in the sheets, but from experience in using a standard blowtorch while annealing tells me that it gives off a rather unpleasant stench. now, our toaster oven dosn't smell great, but I don't want the smell of baking metal sticking on top of that... what I want to ask, is , will the smell from the annealing aluminum "stick" to the toaster oven, or can I just air it out and the smell will go away?

I know they are really great sheets, but what exactly about them makes them so good?
Is it the higher the thread count the better?
Do they not wrinkle as easily as normal sheets?
And do they need special laundry treatment?
