I live down in south texas. It has been raining almost everyday for the last month. Because of this rain we have a lot of snails and some slugs in our backyard. I have poured beer on them as well as salt. It gets rid of them. Then it rains again and we get more. It seems that we are getting more snails in our yard than our neighbors. I wonder why this is. Or is everybody dealing with this problem that I just can't see them? We do have a dog. Our house is in a new subdivison that is still under construction. Do I wait until the rains stops to call an exterminator?

Hi. I have one of those 10X30 easy set pools. The inflatable ring has a tiny hole in it and I need a quick and easy way to patch it without going to the store for a kit.
Any home remedies will be appreciated.

I have good rose plant pellets that I am supposed to dig up the root area of the rose plant and dig these pellets into the ground, why can't I just put them in my hose end sprayer, let them disolve then hook up the hose and spray on, you can tell I am no scientist. I don't have the money to buy more stuff and i don't have the time to dig up the soils

I bought a used Coleman Mosquito Deleto yesterday and can't get it to start.

I changed the battery on the starter swicth and can hear it trying. My propane tank is brand new and full.

I have contacted Coleman as they don't have manuals posted on their website for this particular model, but so far no luck.

If you have one and have some ideas on how to get it working, please post them here.

Thanks!

trying to replace an old kitchen light,
when i disconected there were 7 wires
3 red,3 black,1 earth,i know the wireing is old
but why so many wires?
i tested for the live wire using the old light wires and a bulb, only 2 of the 7 wires will light the bulb,
1 red, 1 black,
when i have the bulb lit and ask someone to turn it of at the switch it doesn't switch off,
i know the switch isn't faulty,

House we moved into has a nice 2 car garage, but the floor is stained in several places with oil or paint. Some of the stains could also be from paint thinner or similar substance. Since I've never dealt with this before, thought someone out there might know the answer to this problem.

Many of my young plants keep mysteriously dying and we have tons of those little guys crawling around them. I know there are many other possibilities, but i'm tired of watching half of the plants i buy die.
