I have children and the possum poop and wee is just disgustingly unhealthy. I have heard that as a last resort a panadol in a 1/4 of a apple will put them to sleep forever, does anyone have any ideas so dont have to try this ?

Do you use cedar chips or what? We have some pictures that were from my wife's mother and she had them stored in a basement and they smell musty and we don't know what to do. Thanks.

Its 2 yrs old and has been fine until this year. It got leaf buds in the spring but only some of them came out. The leaves are very small and have grown in "clumps". The only thing I've done differently was to snip a few thin branches off the bottom (ground level). Any advice?

I think that most politician's do not care about social security, nationalized health, minimum wage, etc. for a few simple reasons. One being that they are rich enough, that these are not concerns that affect them. The second being that most of them are old enough that they know they'll be dead by the time these problems reach their worst. Do you think I am wrong? Please explain.

I had cavity wall insulation injected in march. I have lived in the house for 5 years and it hasnt happened before. The surveyor is coming to check from the insulation company after i insisted(the manager says it is not their problem as it must be structural) they also say water cannot absorb through render and blockwork and the rock wool insulation and pass inside. I have inspected the concrete lintel and it appears that it spans the cavityand there are no weepholes above. The house is 1960's traditional cavity. I need help so that the surveyor cannot fob me off and blame us, should a survey have been carried out by them and any problems highlighted before the work was done? what can i say to them to resolve the problem as i really do think the problem has arisen from the cavity being filled? all advice appreciated.

Recently in my house, there has an occasional loud noise. I'd describe it as a groaning and I believe it may be coming from the pipes. It usually lasts 15 seconds or less, but is very loud.

What might the problem be?

I am planting some seeds, and as they have germinated they are growing very tall and thin. How would I make them thicker, and grow denser as opposed to just upwards? I read about pruning and transplanting but I am not sure what bits to cut, and when to move the plant. Any advice much needed!!

If you have a room and a window, would you place the ventilator pointing towards the room so the air inside circulates or pointing outwards so the hot air from inside the room leaves pulled away by the fan and gets replaced by external (supposedly cooler) air? Strange question, but for us living in the tropics it is important. Thanks

My mom is gonna try and sell our house. She is about to put it on the market and I dont wanna move. The house is old but beautiful and in great shape except the heating and air conditioner needs replacing and all the pipes under the house need replacing because they could go at any minute. Those two things are the 2 reasons were are selling the house because we cant afford a new heat and air system, and new pipes under the house. But i love this house with a passion and so does my mom. what can we do to have to keep from moving. the heat and air need to be replaced soon and so do the pipes but we cant afford to replace them, so what else can we do about it besides moving. Its the best house we could ever get and we wouldnt ever have a house as nice as this one.

I realize we are talking about Oklahoma here so please don't laugh to hard.

I've lived in western part of state for many years. I know east is cooler and a higher elevation is going to mean a longer winter. Presumably the frost dates and growing season is going to be vastly different. I am trying to get a grip on what to expect and how much the differences will be. Is there any one here that can give me some info on what to expect as approximate frost dates and on when the bad part of winter normally "hits" as far as real winter and how long it typically last in that part of state, at that type of elevation?

I want to buy a plunge router from Big Lots but it's $30 and I wanted to know if anyone's had experience with their tools. It's made by Pro Source and I'm going to get a set for $89 that has a circular saw (5 3/8"), a jigsaw, a reciprocating saw, a light and a power drill. They are all cordless and it comes with two batteries. Is this a good deal too? Are these going to fall apart or are they good deals?

Like I said, I can't take it anymore without saying this:

Has anyone else but me noticed how many idiots are on this site that DON'T want to help people out? It amazes me how mean some people are... Am I the only one here who thinks these people are idiots???? Imagine... someone comes here asking for help and some jerks just feel the urge to stomp on them thru this site... I just can't seem to wrap my mind around it... I guess that that is the only way they can feel BIG... by making others feel small.

So this is for those of you who get idiots like that that answer your questions: Ignore them and rate their answers bad.

And for those of you idiots that do this: Get a life!
