My dog recently urined on some of my plants and are starting to die. I don't know the name of the plants, but is there anything I can do to help so they don't die?

I found out there is roots in my service line and it is clogging. My Uncle is experienced with this and has offered to help me replace the line if I can find friends to help dig.

This would save me a ton! What leg work do I need to be doing, i.e. how to locate, what pipe to buy, fittings I will need. Anything to make this as easy as possible on him.

whatever they are, they are very noisy and live in my trees...which are starting to turn brown (they are evergreens) so thats not good. They sound like an electric buzz of some sort. help?? please??

We wanna paint the walls becuz they are dirty and have crayon on them and we need new tiles for the laundry room and the kitchen and me and my Mamma want to redo our rooms
Plus I need school stuff and I want one of those new Dell Inspiron laptops the ones with the color on them I want pink :)
What I wanna know is where can we get cheap but good paint and some of those tiles that you just stick down in green and there are some other household stuff we need take care of but this question is long enough already so I'll ask another one seperate from this one

I broke the rope on my 10 hp lawn mower. Can I buy rope from the hardware store or do I need to buy the starter repair kit the rope is all that broke the handle is still good and reuseable

The back end looked like two long tails. I never seen anything like this before.My neighbor said that they are very dangerous.I tried to kill it by burning it.It looked dead,it wasn't I couldn't kill it.It fell in the cracks on my porch.It moves quick. Not sure what "downlights" are called in the U.S. They are small 12 volt halogen lighting which is fitted inside a gimble which is installed in the ceiling.

I am fitting these (probably four of them) to a large bedroom. Where should these lights be installed? Should they shine onto the bed or not? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

I live in a 1000 sq ft loft 1 bedroom in downtown dallas. I currently have a large garden tub and tile walls. It is all white and is about 9 years old and I was wanting to update. I personally prefer a shower only as i am to tall to take a bath. I was considering pulling the tub and installing a nice shower with either dual shower heads or over shower head. I would do a nice tile or travertine?? Any ideas if this would effect resale value as I only have 1 bedroom and 1 bath and the bath is only accesible through the bedroom. Since this is a smaller loft and located in downtown area I would think there would be very few people with kids looking at my unit when i resell? But I am still worried about spending a lot of money on an upgrade and then have trouble selling because of it? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have seen these protable a/c units that you can just run inside a room. Very expensive. Can I just mount a window unit on a stand and run it in a room?
