The back end looked like two long tails. I never seen anything like this before.My neighbor said that they are very dangerous.I tried to kill it by burning it.It looked dead,it wasn't I couldn't kill it.It fell in the cracks on my porch.It moves quick. What kind of caterpillar is this and what do you do if bit?Their is alote of kids and animals in the area .I'm very concerned.

I know that some caterpillars have stinging spines, but I've never heard of a dangerous caterpillar. Their stings can hurt and even make you feel ill, but not deadly. Since I don't know your location then I included sites from several states. Most of the caterpillars they list are common among the states. Also, I could only find one furry white stinging caterpillar and that is the puss caterpillar.

Here is the only other caterpillar I can find that is similar to your description, but it's harmless.
