Apparently it's burgundy in color, ruffled in texture resembling the front of a poet shirt or in larger sizes a brain (?). Often seen in flower markets in Manhattan. Blooms in October also, so it's a fall flower. Any ideas?

Last year I planted a vine in my greenhouse (Bristol, UK). Now there are several bunches of baby grapes which look promising, but they are covered in mildew. How do I correct this ?

I want something which is environmentally friendly. I have dusted them with 'green sulphur', found in the potting shed. I also have a jar of sodium metabisulphite crystals used for steralising home-brew wine bottles. Would a solution of this be effective against mildew ? - I could dunk each bunch in a tub of solution. But what strength should I use ?

It is said that mosquitoes stay away from the area where the plant is... (whereas pandan leaves attract mosquitoes). This plant grows abundantly and easy to plant.

Is this a crazy idea for a room divider? http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l153/aycm8620/FSwall.jpg I saw something on HGTV but instead of the planters it was a big bench. In my idea the only things filled with concrete are the 3 supports, not the divider

I live in Mandeville Louisiana and we've have had a LOT of rain lately and the ground was fairly saturated. Anyway, I've got a septic tank in the ground in front yard and around one of the pipes it sounds like it is gurggling and some bubbles are coming up from under ground. Can the saturated soil from the frequent rain lately have an effect on this?

Okay, I have a big problem!
One of my favorite white shirts I ruined by washing it with color! :( The shirt has green lettering on it so I'm scared to throw it in bleach and the part that has ink on it is on the side that is blank. Does anyone have a way to re-whiten the shirt without ruining the lettering?
I'd perfer answer that have been tried because this shirt really means a lot to me!!

Please help!!!
thanks
