To keep ants from entering your home, fill cracks and crevices that provide entry from outside with silicone caulk. Seal around baseboards, moldings, cupboards, pipes, ducts, sinks, toilets, and electrical outlets. A temporary seal can be made using petroleum jelly or duct tape. Weather-strip around doors and windows.

Turn off the power to that outlet.
Carefully remove outlet covering from wall.
Put DRY ant poison down.
Replace outlet covering.
Turn on power.
Before all the ants die, try to backtrack their trail to find they're nest, and either kill the ant hill or lay down poison between there and you're house.

Ant spray-spray on the inside and spray on the outside. Look for their nest by following the trail of ants. And then kill them all. Then go back a couple of days later and spray again. They will move their nest. You must just keep after them until they move out of the neighborhood or die.

Best thing for killing ants is a food called Semolina. This is a type of pasta and you get it from a food shop. Pop it onto jam jar lids, and leave around for ants.Ants love it , take it back to their nest, but can't digest it, and die.Works just fine, and is cheap to buy.
