Is it true that Lemon grass (in malay called serai) repels mosquitoes?

It is said that mosquitoes stay away from the area where the plant is... (whereas pandan leaves attract mosquitoes). This plant grows abundantly and easy to plant.

Yes its true. Any plant with a stong lemony smell does repel mosquitos. Others that do include lemon geranium, Wormwood, and Southernwood.
