sodium chlorate, they bombs out of it. Available from any hardware or garden shop. Do no plant in treated soil for 6 months. This stuff is guaranteed, and is very cheap.

The only way I could think to get rid of deep plant roots (if you want them physically removed, but don't want to do the work) is to either blast them (dynamite) or pay someone else to dig them up. If you just want to kill them but not physically remove them, find a chemical specifically for that. DO NOT waste your time on round up, while it will kill small weeds the company that makes round up (Monsanto) has made a number of products that are resistant to round up so there is a good chance that whatever you have in your yard (or whatever) could have cross-pollinated and therefore may be strongly resistant to it.

drill a few holes in the root and poor creosote in that will get rid no problem

there is a product in uk called Deep Root and another called Root out. it does kill everything it touches though. is about 4.99 a box and you add it to water.

a litre of bleech and a pack of salt mixed together . get a bit of tube an penetrate the soil over the weed and pour it in
