when you use opposing colors in your room, you will achieve the best result by only having ONE wall in the contrast color. when you mix up the colors too much, you end up with the colors being too 'busy' and not pleasing to the eye. secondly, just b/c you stay in the same color family (blue, for example) doesn't mean the blues compliment each other. with navy, red might be more pleasant to the eye, but silver is certainly a beautiful color with just about any dark blue from navy blue to midnight blue.

Do one wall as the accent wall with the navy color (where your bed is) and the other 3 walls either blue or silver.

I've always been a fan of monochromatic decorating, but sometimes a dark color like navy blue can make spaces appear smaller that they actually are. I'd keep the darker colors as accents. I am interested on what shade of "blue" you chose to offset the navy.

Paint Fake or real plants as long as they are bright and cheery Pillows Art Work - you can create your own. Find any picture you like that goes in your room, and frame and matte it. Any frame from Wal-Mart will do cause you can paint it the color that goes best with your room and as long as you make sure the picture fits in the frame you can get matting at a Wal-Mart too for very cheap. Brighter curtains on the windows. Floor lamps. A well placed lamp will bring light and dimension to a room. Any one or combo of these will work. Good luck

i think you should stick to one color or paint the four walls different colors. Just paint colors that all go together
