When our house was built in 2003, the builder used sod to put in our lawn both front & back. I water every day at 8AM for 7 min. There are parts of the lawn that seem to be dying while other parts are doing just fine. Is there a certain brand of fertilizer that I can use to keep my whole yard green? I have neighbors whose lawn is always green. So I'd like my lawn to look as nice as theirs. I've noticed that my lawn appears to have two different kinds of grass. Is this possible with sod?

I have seen this in bars and at pools, so I tried it and it works.
Is it the flies vision or what is it that makes it work?

We are moving into our house which has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, Kitchen, and an extra room (not a bedroom). The extra room is what you enter into if you take the backdoor. I could use it for a dinning room, but it's really big and would need something extra to make it look complete. Any suggestions?

I need to take a few trees and branches out.
Is it better to leave a dead branch for the birds to sit on?
Should I burn or make much with the wood?

Thanks

I am trying to root a snipping of my spider plant. What's the best way to do it?
I'm kind of a n00b when it comes to plants, I just recently got interested.
The bigger plant looked kind of like this:

After combing through my rental agreement I have found no reason I can't hang curtains. It is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Does anyone know if she can legally direct me on how to decorate the inside of my apartment??? This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

I recently purchased a new home from which my grandma lived in. She sold it to my husband and I, and it is INFESTED with roaches. The thing is, she has had roaches for the 15 years she's been there because she never CLEANED. YUCK! She let us keep this really nice dining room set and when we took it apart to movie it because we were are getting hardwood floors, it was full of roach eggs and roaches! I want to know some suggestions on getting rid of them. I want them OUT before I move in. My cousin does pest control so he's going to fumigate, but other than that I want to try other things. Thanks for any replies!

I am thinking of buying a larger kiln for my work, and it would require 3 phase power at 7.5kw according to the info. Would I be able to run it using one of those phase converters changing single to 3 phase? Or would I be better off finding out how much it would cost to have 3 phase installed in my garage?
