I've been working with candles for 15 years now but just in this last 2 I've been working more with soy wax. The problem I have been facing is that the color fads. I'll make the candles and store in a cool dark area and when I take them out 3-6 months latter the color has faded from both end going darker in the middle. Any help would be great thanks. Also a side note* I'm trying to go as natural as i can so I have not used any additive other then the dyes themselves these candle with the coloring are not sented as well.

A clarification of another question:

Where do I find information about building codes and permits in my county? I know it is a government office, but I don't know which one and I don't know how to start. I Googled it but got a bunch of confusing sites, none of which was a government office site.

Can someone tell me what department I'm looking for or who to contact to find info?

My friend came in all frustrated yesterday. She said that she had a bad time doing laundry and in her words "it was full of losers and people that were poor and stinky". OK so she was getting her washer fixed, but is it mostly people who don't have it together enough to afford a washer that are there? Have you noticed this

I am a 27 yr old white female and I have had a problem with acne since I was about 21 years old (no problems in my teens, though). Nothing over the counter seems to work, and I have found the only thing that will clear it up is oral antibiotics, and those only work until I stop taking them. My doctor recommended that I wash my towels, sheets, and pillowcases with an antibacterial laundry detergent, wash my whole body with hibiclens soap daily, and use a new towel every time I shower (to cut down on the bacteria in my home). I can't seem to find an antibacterial laundry detergent. I know bleach would work, but my towels are navy blue and my bedding is a dark tan color. I don't want to discolor anything... any suggestions for antibacterial laundry detergent?

The dragon flies that are in my yard are a blue color, almost the color of the next button on this screen. Anyhow, at almost any given moment there are at least ten hovering around in just the front yard. I look around at the neighbors yards and there are none in theirs. I always thought dragon flies ate insects, however, I have been very diligent with putting insecticides out, particularly to rid my yard of ants.

I live in Ohio, if it matters.

My fiance and i are moving here in a few months and we're getting rid of all our hand-me-downs from when we moved in with each other 3 years ago.

We're a young couple and we don't want to shell out too much money.

We're looking for:
End Tables for $90 MAX!
Entertainment Centers $200 MAX!
Kitchen Tables $100-200 MAX!
A nice comfy couch!

What are some good store OR even websites to go to .. BESIDES wal mart .. unless you've bought something really sturdy from their dont put that down .. everything i buy from there falls apart!

THANX and best answers goes to best website/store. =)

They take up an area of approximately 1m x 0.5m. When in bloom they are lovely but the rest of the time I have a big bare patch along the wall where they are situated. I know they dont like to be moved and wouldnt want to as it was my gran's garden that she left to me in her will and they were her fave flower, but I'm wondering if there's anything I can plant in this area that will have finished flowering before the peonys come up and that will not interfere with them?

I would like it about 28" hight and about 59" long on each side to fit in my corner of my living room. It should not extend from the back of the wall to the front of the desk any more than about 19-20". I have no idea and cannot seem to make a drawing of what I need. any help would be appreciated. also, if someone knows of a desk like this already made and for sale on a website, please direct me to it.. I dont want to spend any more that about $150 - $180 for it. Thats why I thought I would get my own material and build it myself. Dont need no fancy drawers as I will put a 24 1/2" file cabinet under one end. No sliding keyboard tray needed as I may add that later.keyboard tray needed either. Thank you..

I am planning on putting in a cutting garden and I'm looking for recommendations for flowers. So far I think I'll have some Daffodils/Narcisuss & tulips for Spring, Peonies, Poppies & Asiatic Lilies for June and Oriental Lilies for July. I will also put in some Foxglove, Cleomi and some Cone Flower. I would like some idea for other flowers, especially those that bloom later in the Summer and into the Fall.

I am planning on putting in a cutting garden and was looking at some catalogues yesterday. All the flowers I was interested in needed well drained soil and I am pretty sure the area I will be planting in has pretty heavy clay soil.

I have heard that if you just dig out the clay and replace it with compost you create basically tubs that do not drain well. So I need to know how best to improve the drainage. I am looking to fit the area in Aug-Sept for planting in late Sept or Oct.

I am thinking about putting down laminate floors down in my entire downstairs. This will include the great room, dining area, kitchen and half bath. I have read and been told that it is very durable but my concern is my dogs. I have an 85 lb dog who is generally pretty mellow and my son has a 40 lb terrier who is generally NOT very mello (high energy). I don't want to spend alot of money on something that will be ruined in a short period of time. Does anyone have experience with this situation?

I have seen houses where the water mains was used as the source of obtaining a "good earth" to ground everything else within the house, including the fuse box and the "green wire".
Another time I was told that water pipes are earthed to avoid a harmful potential to occur on any on the water taps.
Now I see a house which has a rubber hose coming from the well and pressure tank, and copper pipes only start to be used after the softener tank. Still, the fuse box and the telephone cable are religiously connected to one of those copper pipes.
Who is earthing whom? A water filled rubber hose can't be a "good earth".....?
