Some suggestions from: http://eartheasy.com/grow_nat_pest_cntrl.htm
Mix one whole egg with a quarter cup of water and mix well. Pour the mixture into a pump bottle and spray it on your plants. This deterrent will withstand light rains because the egg sticks to the leaves. It's used to turn off the deers. Hopefully it won't turn off your neighbors. LOL

Some deer-repellent concoctions which are not disgusting to people include mint oils (often combined with pepper and garlic), cloves and cinnamon, or citrus.

~ Mix one tablespoon of liquid dish detergent with one ounce of hot sauce in one litre of water and spray directly on plants which deer have been nibbling.

Hang a bar of soap wrapped in cheesecloth, on stakes. If you put on bushes uncovered, this could attract rodents who will can chew on the soap & the bark (if soap drips on it). The rain and humidity keeps the soap fragrant. Use one about every ten feet or near special plants. The tallow(animal fatty acids) smell repells deer, but if it smells like coconut...it may attract them.

Hanging human hair in bags of nylon or cheesecloth is a repellent suggested by: http://www.uvm.edu/pss/ppp/articles/deerdeter.html
It needs to be replaced every 2 weeks.

Interplant deer-repelling plants throughout the garden: Perennial herbs such as artemisia, tansy, and yarrow and culinary herbs such as mint, thyme, tarragon, oregano, dill, and chives .

You can plant a border of lilacs or some other shrub deer won't eat so they'll go somewhere else to eat.. Also plant perennial plants that are not favored by deer: Yarrow, Monkshood, Anemone, Columbine, Artemisia, Butterfly weed, Astilbe, False Indigo, Bergenia, Marsh Marigold, Cornflower, Delphinium, Bleeding Heart, Foxglove, Wood Fern, Purple Coneflower, Fleabane Daisy, Joe-pye weed, Spurge, Blanket Flower, Crested Gentian, Baby’s Breath, Helenium, Coral Bells, Hibiscus, St. John’s Wort, Iris, Red-hot poker, Lavender, Shasta Daisy, Liatris, lupine, Monarda, Evening Primrose, Oriental Poppy, Russian Sage, Obedient plant, Jacob’s ladder, Solomon’s seal, primrose, Bracken Fern, Pasque Flower, Orange Coneflower, perennial Salvia, Pincushion flower, yellow Stone Crop, Lamb’s Ear, Painted Daisy, Spiderwort, and Speedwell to name a few.*

Good luck! Hope this helps.

When spring started I planted lots of new plants and they were not deer repellent. So I bought two ultra sonic sensors which covers 50ft by 50ft. You can hook them on electric outlet or use batteries. I have not seen deer in my yard since then. I saw them crossing like there was an invisible fence. These sensors are $60 each. I got them from Amazon.com.

I had to build a fence around my property to keep my trees and garden... you could try this, or get a big dog, or lol try deer stew... seriously though, I believe that unless you put up a barrier between the deer, and their food source, you won't be able to keep them away

I believe they sell certain powders that are healthy to plants, and humane to animals, but tastes God awful to any animal that tries to bite at the plant. You should check a garden shop for something like this. If not, keep pie-tins around the garden, if they walk through them, the clanging will scare them away.
