I'm going to be moving back into the dorms before too long and I need advice as to what to do to spruce up the space a bit. We cannot put ANY tacks, nails, etc in the wall. (But if I put tacks, or nails in the wall it really isn't a huge deal because I think I might get charged like $1 per nail hole, and $0.60/tack hole, or something) We also cannot paint the walls. We can use tape to put things on the walls, but it can't use duct tape only scotch tape.

HELP ME! Last year I put a collage of different magazine stuff on my walls, but I wanted to think of something a bit different. Any ideas for curtains would be great too, our windows aren't normal size they are vertical and slim.

The furniture that comes with the room is pretty basic, ugly, old light colored wood desk, & dresser. Metal frame bed, and the curtains on the closet are our school logo on black fabric that are attached to "s" hooks on a track type thing.

Ideas on what to do for me and others in my situation?

... bed bugs? I recently discovered that I have them. I was told its because of the humidity in my house (I turn off the air when I head out to work). But I noticed I would wake up with these little red bites on my skin. And then I saw one. I immediately ripped off all the sheets and sprayed my mattress with Lysol Disinfectant. But that didn't work. What do I need to do? Should I buy bug spray? And if so, what kind? Should I call an exterminator? Help Please!

I'm an amateur florist, and I've been disappointed that some of my flowers, even ones bought fresh from the market, only last a few days, despite flower food and listerine and changing water and cutting stems at an angle. Then I spray them with a chemical wilt-retardant. What am I missing?

I have just installed two new light fittings in my lounge which are compatible for a dimmer switch but when I removed the old two way light switch there were three red wires coming from the inside of the walls leading to Right side L2 L1 and Left side L2 there was also a wire which was also red which was not connected to the wall in any way but just looped from R side L1 to L side L2. I duplicated this in the dimmer switch but nothing happened. The earth wire is connected to the inside of the box itself therefore the switch doesnt need earthing. When I put the new lights in there were old electrical wires in the ceiling. In one was a red and a black wire, which I connected and the light worked from the old switch in the other there was two black wires and a red which when connected to the new light worked. Where am I going wrong with the dimmer? It has eight connection holes, four on either side L then a blank the N then another blank. I wired it the same as the original switch.
