My friend came in all frustrated yesterday. She said that she had a bad time doing laundry and in her words "it was full of losers and people that were poor and stinky". OK so she was getting her washer fixed, but is it mostly people who don't have it together enough to afford a washer that are there? Have you noticed this

well you cant judge ppl wrong just b/c they dont have a washer or dryer at their house. and if she went there b/c she was getting her machine fixed maybe others had the same situation and she shouldnt think that shes the perfect one out of the ppl in the laudry place. i have both a washer and dryer at home but sometime i go dry my clothes at the mat so it can be quiker instead of taking hours at my house to dry them. so no there is not only stinky poor ppl that go there at the mat i go to there are clean ppl so she should stop judging and go to a different place next time

The laundremat by our house is sparkling nice and has an attendant and the people that go there are clean and friendly.. One guy I used to see weekly has a washer/dryer but when it's his turn to do laundry prefers going to the laundry to get it done faster... I was inbetween washer/dryer and didn't mind going to the laundry too much.. I have kids now and it would be more work, so I have my own set.... Your friend is a stuck-up moron...

I live in Nyc in an apt . that doesn't allow washers so not all of us who use them are poor or stinky or losers!How rude of your friend for saying that. How would she liked to be judged?I hope she's just a kid and will learn some day and not an adult acting like that!

there are also Laundry-mat OWNERS that are lax in the care of their establishment that can make a trip to laundry-mat undesirable. I HAVE a washer and dryer at home- but there are occasions when I have to go to the laundry mat to wash bulky items, etc. And for whatever reason- I find it hard to find a clean reputable laundry mat?

Your friend is a jerk. Sometimes apartments don't allow your own washers or dryers.
