In a previous question, I asked how to get rid of them. I got good answers telling me to wash the leaves with soapy water and rinse. I did that and cut some of the leaves off. The tomatoes still look big, green and healthy. But in the process of doing this, one of the "branches" with a couple good looking tomatoes broke. Not fully, but it is now halfway connected and is being supported by the cage. Is there anyway to save them from failure?

The fence at the very back of my yard is chain link and the people behind us are really dirty and from the street behind us you can see our back yard. Does anyone know of a climbing plant that will do well in Northern California and in mostly shade? I am looking for a vine that will look nice and grow fast. Thanks so much!

I Ask about buying a trailer and was informed on the spot they are not called trailors but mobile homes, and that he did not appreciate me saying that. I then I explained my thoughts on the matter, which then he walked/stomped away. WOW! --In the first place i consider anything that has wheels, moves down the road and has and a tongue with 2 rails that has a load on top and that is attached behind a vehicle to be a trailor- and to add to that it would be a house not a home, until it is occupied by people.Which i said to him it should be called a trailor house( which helped him stomp a little faster) And once it has been set up and moved into, I would say you could call it a mobile home, Which to me means it can be moved if need be without tearing it down. Could anybody get me the correct word or answer for this?

I have tried using pesticides, but they burn the leaves off the shrubs and then the wasps/hornets just came back instead. I can't even finish planting my shrubs because I am afraid of being attacked by them. They seem to be in every bush in our front yard!

We produce a lot of food leftovers in our daily waste.
I was wondering if it could be used to make compost.
I'm looking for an easy way, I have a small backyard and thinking of planting some flower beds. Would that be useful.
I'm totally a newbie in that area, and just looking for a useful way to recycle my leftovers instead of tossing it in the garbage.

The instructions only say, "Apply a bead of adhesive". Would I be using simple caulk for a job like this? It seemed like the vanity I removed was attached to our walls just with a thick bead of caulk to hold it in place. Or is there some other kind of adhesive I should use? Elmer's glue?

I need to replace a few sprinkler heads I broke. I don't want to spend a lot, but I want something that will last and give good coverage. I also want something that's adjustable so I can make it work in various places. Any recommendations?

We have checked Home Depot, Lowe's and Walmart. We can only find a 5-6,000 BTU air conditioner that will fit in the window. We need a more powerful one.

I have to repair a patch of plaster on the ceiling on a corner of the room, about 1.5 metres square. The surface is paint on plaster on concrete. My questions are:

1) Is masking tape on the walls close to the edge with the ceiling a good idea for gauging the depth of the plaster and helping with getting a clean line?

2) Should I rub down the paint on the surrounding sound plaster? If I did this it would give a better key for any overlap, but then again perhaps I shouldn’t encourage this and any surplus plaster will be less easy to wipe off.

I have had it for 3 years atleast. I repot it every year and that's about the only time it blooms.
It is in a large pot, outdoors, in direct sun. It gets watered almost daily (rain). I live in Northern/Central FL. It has tons of leaves, no buds, no flowers. How can I get it to bloom?

I just need the petals, not the plants, and I need a lot. When I lived in West Palm Beach, there were many places that sold roses for $1 each, but since moving to Texas I can't find anything like that. Any suggestions?

Can anybody tell me how we can convert the numbers on the water meter to amount of dollars to pay? We each live on an acre of land, which uses a lot of water. My brother shared the well with us, but has moved. Since he moved, we bought and installed 2 water meters. Now, we need to know how much the new owners should pay. We live outside of Bakersfield, California.

Each day, it digs up the flowers, my mom fixes them up, and same thing happens the next day. If I knew when the squirrel comes to the garden each day, I would probably wait outside for it with a baseball bat and kill it. That's not an option though.

How can we get rid of the squirrel? Any suggestions or similar problems?
