Try hot soapy water. let it sit for a few and sponge up. Glitter is really hard to get completely gone from anywhere but the glue should come up and your carpet should be nice and soft after. You may just have a few sparkles left.

Tell me the glue is water soluable. If it is, apply water, maybe a little bit of resolve, and use a damp rag to clean it up. Remember, pat, don't scrub or damage will be done to the pile of the carpet.

If it's not, there's lots of things you could try, but I couldn't guarantee any of them would not damage the carpet or stain it. Does the resolve help?

Wish I had better news!

Use Goo Gone. It's this citrus-y spray you can get in the cleaning section anywhere almost.... Wal Mart, Target, etc. Give it a few sprays and let it sit. Goo Gone gets anything out of anything... glue, candle wax, oil/grease on clothing, etc.

squirt some Goo-Gone on it. You can find it at the household cleaning section at pretty much any store. It works really good. The directions are on the bottle.
