I just need the petals, not the plants, and I need a lot. When I lived in West Palm Beach, there were many places that sold roses for $1 each, but since moving to Texas I can't find anything like that. Any suggestions?

try dollar stores most of them have them . I found mine at dollar stores . good luck .

Real, fresh rose petals can be purchased at most florist shops. You can get a bag of mixed colors for probably under $5.00, a bag of just red petals may cost a little bit more. If they are kept in the fridge they will last a week or more.
