I don´t know if I spelled this the right way. I cut one flower off (it was originally blue) and the one that formed is pink:)
I cut the other ones as well-is this the right thing to do? They were old and had holes from where the slugs had gotten to them.

We are drawing up plans for building our home. I would like some advice on this. I have an engineer and builders to finalize all of my plans what I really need are ideas as to what I want. What are some things you wished you had done differently when designing your home? What are some things you would like to add to your existing home? I have never done this or even thought about designing my own home. It is going to be a small house about 2,000 sq feet and 2 stories. ideas please.

A friend gave me a young lemon grass plant in a plastic pot. It is now winter time in New Zealand and I am not sure what to do with the plant. Should I replant it in a new pot and keep it indoor until spring time? I'm hopeless at gardening...

We have a 2 bedroom condo, and the kitchen, dining room, and living area are in a big room. What every day items can be used as decorations-we are in Germany, and so far away from Ikea. We don´t have a lot of stores to choose from, so I need ideas.

I dont think the card from the store is right about how to care for the plant considering they gave me the card for a bananna tree...does anyone know where I can find this information?....I found some info like the light factor but that was all. I need to know about water and food and potting soil and etc.....Thanks for any help

We've grown potatoes for a number of years but this is the first year I've noticed we have strange 'fruit' growing instead of flowers on one of the potato bushes. They look like small un-ripe tomatoes and are very dark green and hard. All the other potatoes bushes are fine and have the normal flowers growing on them (and thankfully no blight). We've looked it up in our vegetable growing books but can't find anything about it. Does anyone know what the 'fruit' is and will the potatoes still be ok?

I have had 5 day lily plants in my garden for about 5 years now. Every year they come up the same golden color (almost an orange hue) as the year before but this year they are comming up a light daffodil yellow color. I have made no changes in which I am feeding the garden differently than last year. My other day lillies (I have various colors) are comming up the same colors as they have years before. Even my neighbor pointed out the change in color...does anyone know what could be causing this color change?

I rent an apartment in Scottsdale AZ. The complex is presently working on replacing tiles etc on the roof!! (btw its 112 degrees during the day.) We are now on our 5 th day with no tiles on the roof. As we are upstairs you can imagine that the a/c is running constantly and rarely goes below 80 . we were not told of this work taking place..Should i be able to get some compensation for my electric bill. Its already ridiculously high, thats the price of living in the desert..But how much of this is due to having the tiles off the roof? Can anyone help, or is there someone i should get in touch with,,thanx in advance

Was wondering if there is any mechanical thing or helpful hint for jucing blackberries. I figure that a traditional juicer would grind up the seed and I don't want that.

Overall, the work that I did on the woodworking is perfectly even and though I did do it myself, I do not see myself tackling the floors. Please recommend anything that you feel will be helpful, including reputable companies? The floors are large and I want them to look stunning. Thanks

my pump is not building up as much pressure as it did two weeks ago, all of a sudden it has a major loss of flow and i had to reajust the pressure switch for it to even shut off, the pressure goes down slowly from 45 psi untill it hits twenty then drops all the way to ten in an instant and has just a trickle coming out of the spickit and the pump kicks back on at 20psi but will not repressurise past 35 psi untill i shut the spickit back off and it takes probably 5 minuits to get it back up to 45 to shut the pump back off, I have a flint and walling jet pump on top of a 2- 2 and a quarter inch steel pipe in a well house,
it is a 1hp. motor 110/230v model 94h110
i hope i gave enough info. what are some things to check?
and what other things could it be?

I grow all my herbs. I have a beautiful Oregano plant that I have nurtured indoors through the harsh Northeast winters. Recently I placed it on my back enclosed porch, which only gets heating from the sun and isn't insulated. It was doing fine, until I noticed about 20 little mushrooms (bright yellow) growing in the pot.
I used soil from the plant store. I don't understand what to do with it, because believe it or not I'm allergic to mushrooms.
Is the plant safe for me to use?
