Where can we get an 8-10,000 BTU air conditioner that will fit in an 24" wide window?

We have checked Home Depot, Lowe's and Walmart. We can only find a 5-6,000 BTU air conditioner that will fit in the window. We need a more powerful one.

iunno where we got ours but it is a lg model LWHD1006r its a 10000 btu and it fits in our small window .. its 22 inches long and about 17 inches tall.. look for that model #
