We have checked Home Depot, Lowe's and Walmart. We can only find a 5-6,000 BTU air conditioner that will fit in the window. We need a more powerful one.

iunno where we got ours but it is a lg model LWHD1006r its a 10000 btu and it fits in our small window .. its 22 inches long and about 17 inches tall.. look for that model #

I bought an aironditioner that is 100.000 BTUs that is 24 wide & 16 high fron Circuit city.

Last week at least here in So Cal there was a huge demand for A/Cs. Many area stores did run out, but are now replenished. Call back and check with your local HD to see if they have their stock.

don't know of one that size Have you considered mounting thru wall, if you are not renting it is a fairly straight forward job to cut the hole and frame in the opening in a stud orblock wall .
